Placements and your student visa
We only arrange placements that are a compulsory part of your CRICOS-registered course. Hours in a compulsory placement may not count toward your fortnightly work limit, but optional placements can. We check your course before you start, and you should confirm your own visa conditions with your institution.
Before you start
- Check your visa conditions in VEVO
- Tell your course coordinator about any paid work you do
- Keep a copy of your placement agreement
- Ask us if you are unsure about anything
